Fabric:- The Samurai is made from Silicone treated Rip-Stop Nylon fabric with a high degree of accuracy. All open seams are Mylar tape reinforced and bridle attachment points are strengthened to spread the load.
Flying Lines:- Samurai kites come complete with control handles or control bar option and pre-stretched Spectra flying lines. The line set is 180kg/110kg (400lbs/200lbs approx.) and 25m (82 feet approx.) long, color coded for easy set up. Both control options employ a safety leash system to depower the kite if required.

As with all sports equipment exposed to natural elements such as wind, sea water, dust, sand and sunlight, life expectancy varies. With heavy use in these conditions, Samurai kites can be expected to remain operationally effective for a minimum of 2 years. Of course, with moderate use and care, this time period can be lengthened considerably. To optimize performance, it is suggested that equipment be updated and/or replaced routinely.

The Samurai has been designed for all round traction fun. Whatever your traction passion. "The special high stability profile combined with a sleek plan-form and low drag line means you get a user friendly kite that can still put many competition kites to shame." Each kite comes in a striking back-back with lines, handles or bar and instruction booklet.
Whether you ride a buggy, snow board, skis, mountain board, roller blades, or even your granny's wheelchair, the Samurai produces solid user-friendly power with quick response.
Smaller sizes are intended for strong winds and the larger sizes for light wind conditions, though the operating range of each Samurai will largely depend on the flyers skill level with this type of kite.
Getting started:- Whether flying for fun or Traction Kiting, select a size that fits your ability and prevailing wind conditions. No matter what type of kite you use for Kite Traction, there are a number of things to remember when selecting the best size to start with. Your choice will depend on the Surface; (Skis on snow or ice, Kite Buggy on soft or hard sand, grass or hard ground), the Wind Speed, Flyer Skill and Experience and Flyer Weight. Whether the flyer is a novice or has a lot of Traction Kiting experience, the best choice is the smallest kite that will produce enough power to move. It is essential not to be overpowered, not just because it's obviously safer, but upwind travel will be easier and less power is easier to manage. A mid-size kite is ideal to get familiar with control on solid ground in a modest steady wind. Once you are confident that you can control the kite, then progress to Kite Buggy, Skis or Land Board.

These kites produce considerable pull and are not suitable for inexperienced flyers. Always learn to control the kites before attempting kite traction activities. Sensible saftey precautions should be followed when flying these kites and protective clothing, especially sturdy shoes and a helmet should always be worn when using them for traction. Read instructions and safety warnings in with every kite.

A sleek race profile with a high performance arc creates the fastest kite that Ozone have designed. By integrating profile technology learnt from both their kite and paraglider developments, they have built a very high-speed kite that produces low drag when tacking at slower speeds. For the less technically minded, this simply means there is much less chance of being lifted out of your buggy.
A sophisticated inboard braking system, a semi closed leading edge and a high aspect ratio combine to help the Razor deliver smooth power both across the window and through the turn. This is a highly efficient and clean wing designed for ultimate performance. The Razor has also been designed to be accessible to a very wide range of pilots. It delivers direct, smooth handling at very high speeds, but with a level of exceptionally user-friendly stability that means all competent kiters will be able to enjoy its turbo charged performance.

Features:-
··> A high-speed profile to produce low drag (less vertical lift) when the kite is at the top of the window.
··> Diagonal cross bracing between the cell walls to fully support the Razor's sail whilst keeping lines to an absolute
minimum. Less line = less drag = better performance all round.
··> Inboard positioning of brake attachment points allows the sail to fully open for maximum speed. This configuration lets
the Razor's power switch on and off in an instant, giving you controlled power through the turn.
··> Closed cells in the tips to maintain high pressure within the kit e at all times, and to create a very clean aerofoil.
··> Dump ports in the trailing edge of the wing tips to empty unwanted sand.
··> A Velcro tab on the inside of the centre cell ensures that the bridles lines are kept tangle free when packed.
··> No external stitching to catch, snag and wear out.
··> Built to the same exacting, millimetre accurate standards as Ozone's certified paragliders.
